Training

Training in the summer mainly consists of time on the water in coxed fours and eights, single, double and quadruple sculls, doing technical drills and race pieces. The regatta season runs from April to August and these races are very demanding events, so you have to be fit!  It is important to build up your long-term fitness in the winter months through rowing in long distance events, running, circuit training and lifting weights.

Any Queries?

Please feel free to contact us on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 6.30pm or Sundays at 9am.  The Mens' and Ladies' Captains will be happy to chat and show you around the boathouse.
